Personal Plushies (Intro Photography Final)
3 Dec. 2024

About
A personal narrative about adulthood, emotional repression and plush toy collector phenomenon. This project was created as the final assignment for my introductory photography class. The plush toys featured are personal to each model. The models are posed doing work relating to their college major. All post production was done in Adobe Photoshop. I hope to revisit this concept and flesh it out in some of my future work.

About
The goal of this project was to research and recreate the style of a contemporary photographer. Karen Rohee’s experimental film photography is the direct inspiration for this set of landscape photographs. All images shown above were shot digitally and edited in Photoshop with the techniques of film photography in mind.

About
The project was designed to tell a story in three photos. This was accomplished by taking some plush toys and placing them in a “naturally urban” environment.
